During the visit to Fazil Livestock Company, officials emphasized self-sufficiency in red meat production, improving productivity, and supporting livestock farmers
On September 8, senior officials from the Ministry of Agriculture, the Livestock Union of Isfahan Province, and leading experts in the livestock industry visited Fazil Livestock Company in Isfahan.
The visit aimed to explore the company’s production capabilities, exchange technical expertise, and address the challenges faced by local livestock farmers. Attendees included the Head of the Department of Animal Breeding at the Ministry of Agriculture, the Deputy for Livestock Production Improvement, the Director of the Livestock Affairs Office, the Head of the Nutrition Department of the Provincial Agricultural Organization, as well as managers, consultants, and technical experts from livestock cooperatives.
Prior to the visit, a technical meeting was held, focusing on issues such as meat imports, the province’s potential for achieving self-sufficiency in red meat production, and the significant achievements in raw milk production.
In his remarks, the Head of the Department of Animal Breeding stated: “On behalf of the Minister, we bow to the hardworking livestock farmers,” stressing the importance of supporting domestic producers and reducing reliance on imports.
